The Princeton boys swim team competed at the Ohio High School Athletic Association Southwest District Sectional Swimming Championships on Friday, February 11th at Princeton High School. The Vikings scored 88 team points during the swimming competition.

In Friday's meet, the Vikings had 9 lifetime best swims and four season best times. The lifetime best swims included; Maxwell Schutte (50 Yard Freestyle), Deaon Horsley (50 Yard Freestyle), Trevor Ehlerding (100 Yard Freestyle), Maxwell Schutte (100 Yard Freestyle), Deacon Horsely (100 Yard Freestyle), Kyle More (200 Yard Freestyle), David Thompson (100 Yard Backstroke), Kyle Moore (100 Yard Backstroke), and Asheton Hannah (100 Yard Butterfly).

Princeton's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay made up of Maxwell Schutte, Trevor Ehlerding, Asheton Hannah, and Tommy Burton advanced to Districts after posting a new season best time of 1:37.96.

The Vikings followed up with a strong 400 Yard Freestyle Relay (Schutte, Ehlerding, Hannah, Burton) performance to advance to next week's District Championships at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
