The Princeton boys swim team participated in the 38th Annual Southwest Ohio Coaches Classic January 14th-15th. The Vikings did an outstanding job, setting 28 new season best swims overall.
In the 50 Breaststroke, Max Schutte placed 4th overall in 0:33.93. Tommy Burton and Asheton Hannah finished in 6th and 7th place respectively.
Burton placed 5th overall in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 0:23.67. Schutte and Trevor Ehlerding finished in 21st and 22nd place.
In the 100 IM, Asheton Hannah finished in 5th place with a time of 1:05.03. He also placed 14th overall in the 200 IM (2:35.59), and 10th overall in the 100 Freestyle (53.79).
Burton added a 14th-place finish in the 100 Freestyle. He finished 8th overall in the 50 Butterfly (0:30.32.) Caleb Thompson placed 9th and Schutte added a 12th-place finish.
Thompson placed 14th overall in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:09.13.
Princeton added a 10th-place finish in the 50 Back when Matthew Hardman posted a time of 0:34.32.Â
In the 100 Backstroke, Ehlerding, Harman, and Horsley finished in 14th, 17th, and 20th respectively.Â
The Vikings 400 Medley Relay (Ehlerding, Schutte, Hannah, Burton) placed 8th overall with a time of 4:26.15. Princeton followed up with a 7th-place finish in the 400 Freestyle (Hannah, Thompson, Ehlerding,Burton) with a time of 3:48.24.
Princeton had a pair of 10th place finishes in the 200 Freestyle Relay (Hannah, Thompson, Ehlerding, Burton) and 200 Medley Relay (Ehlerding, Schutte, Hannah, Burton).
