Coach Cecil Miquiabas begins his first season as the head coach of the Princeton Swim program. Over his 32-year coaching career, Cecil has had various opportunities to coach the Philippine national age-group, senior, and para swim team. He has coached 5 para swimmers to represent Team Philippines and he was a two-time finalist for the Ohio Swimming age-group coach of the year honor.
From 2008 to 2019, Coach Miquiabas consistently had swimmers place in the Ohio JO Age-Group Championship top finals.
The Miquiabas family migrated here in the United States in 2007. Cecil is married to Jetty and they have two children; Mikka (2018 graduate), and Kyle (2020 graduate). The family is proud Viking swimmers and water polo players.
