Arnold Franklin

Coach Arnold Franklin is the head coach of the Princeton Chess Program. He is in his 27th season coaching at Princeton, and 32nd year overall.

He has coached football, basketball, track and field, chess, and life. 

In 2021, Coach Franklin was named the Greater Miami Conference Coach of the Year. 

Franklin, a 1982 graduate, was inducted into the Princeton Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004. He is also a proud alumni of the University of North Carolina.

He is married to Julianne Franklin, and has three daughters Ava, Sierra, and Erin.
