Princeton

Andy Short

Coach Andy Short begins his third season coaching girls lacrosse at Princeton, and his 13th season overall. Coach Short is most proud of establishing the lacrosse program and getting it underway for the inaugural season.

He has been coaching all levels of lacrosse, and has sent five players to compete at the collegiate level. His greatest satisfaction is watching new players with zero lacrosse skills develop into accomplished players.

Short is a graduate of Little Miami High School and Wilmington College. He is a United States Army Retired Veteran, spending most of his military career as a tank crewman.

His passion for lacrosse started with his youngest daughter Samantha playing at an early age and continuing through high school and currently at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Andy’s oldest daughter Miranda was a competitive team and solo dancer, and a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. All of the great things would not be possible without the support of his loving wife, Tawn.
