Mike Bruening

Coach Mike Bruening enters his 15th season as the head coach of the Girls Tennis program. Last season, the Lady Vikings finished in seventh place in the final league standings.

In 2019, Coach Bruening earned the GCTCA Distinguished Coach Award. The Lady Vikings tennis program continues to rank amongst the top of the Fall sports in team grade point average.

Bruening is entering his 16th year teaching Science at the high school. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Cincinnati. He is currently obtaining graduate work in teaching and instruction from Idaho State University.

A graduate of The University of Cincinnati, Mike is married to his wife Jenn. They have two children; Max (9) and Gigi (7).
