The Princeton Lady Vikings basketball team lost to Mercy McAuley in the closing seconds 53-52 on Saturday, November 30th at Princeton High School. The Lady Vikings drop to 0-2 on the season.

Trailing 16-15 after the first quarter of play, the Lady Vikings jumped out to a 11-3 second quarter scoring margin to take a 26-19 lead into halftime. 

The Wolves outscored the Lady Vikings by 8 points in the second half. Alexa Fleming knocked down one of her game-high 5 three-pointers in the closing seconds to secure the win for Mercy McAuley. Fleming led all scorers with 19 points.

Princeton's Sole Williams and Kyla Oldacre each scored 11 points. Williams had a game-high 4 steals, and Oldacre led the way with 7 rebounds.

Willow White finished with 7 points on 3-of-6 shooting from the floor. White added 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

As a team, Princeton shot 50 percent (21-of-42) from the field and knocked down 5 three-pointers. Defensively, the Lady Vikings forced 13 turnovers and had 10 steals.
