Paris Johnson Jr. Foundation Announces Inaugural Ohio High School Offensive Lineman of the Year Award

The Paris Johnson Jr. Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural Ohio High School Offensive Lineman of the Year award, recognizing outstanding senior offensive linemen who exhibit exceptional traits both on the gridiron and in their communities.

This prestigious new award will honor a senior offensive lineman who demonstrates not only athletic excellence but also exemplifies leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement. The recognition reflects the foundation's commitment to celebrating the complete student-athlete and the vital role offensive linemen play in team success.

"Offensive linemen are the backbone of any successful football team, but their contributions often go unrecognized," said Paris Johnson Jr., NFL offensive lineman and founder of the Paris Johnson Jr. Foundation. "This award is about more than just football performance – it's about celebrating young men who protect their teammates on the field and serve as leaders in their schools and communities. These players embody the values of hard work, dedication, and selflessness that make great offensive linemen and even better people."

The initial "Watch List" will be announced with candidates being evaluated based on football performance, academic standing, leadership qualities, and community involvement. Working in conjunction with the OHSAA, the "Finalists" will be invited to the Ohio Football State Championship Game where the winner of the inaugural Paris Johnson Jr. Foundation Ohio High School Offensive Lineman of the Year award will be announced.
