The Princeton High School Athletics Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the 19th Class of inductees:  2014 Girls Basketball State Champions, 1975 Mile Relay State Champions, 1983 4x400 Meter Relay State Champion, 1986 4x800 Meter Relay State Champion and Dave Kamerer (Lifetime Achievement).

These deserving individuals will be recognized at the Varsity Football game on Friday night, October 4th, and formally inducted at a special brunch at Princeton High School on Saturday, October 5th.

2014 Girls Basketball State Champions
The Vikings finished the season with a 28-2 record. In the state semi-final Princeton defeated Toledo Notre Dame 60-52. Kelsey Mitchell led the Vikings with 23 points. Carley Pogue added 18 points and 11 rebounds.
In the championship game the Vikings defeated North Canton Hoover 61-55. Kelsey Mitchell scored 30 points and Carley Pogue added 17 points and 14 rebounds.

The Vikings beat Cleveland Heights in a photo finish with a time of 3:18.39

1986 4x800 meter Relay State Champion

The Vikings beat Toledo Rogers with a time of 7:46.0

Dave Kamerer – Lifetime Achievement
Dave Kamerer's career at Princeton started in 1974 until he retired in 2010. During that time Dave taught Math for 26 years and was the Jr. High Athletic Director for 10 years. Of those 36 years Dave spent 34 years coaching. He coached football for 34 years, he coached track for 26 years, basketball for 10 years and golf for 2 years, all at the JH level. The PHS high school coaches knew that Dave Kamerer would be developing the student athletes and preparing them for high school. In addition to athletics Dave also supported the National Junior Honor Society fundraising for needy Princeton families by running the Christmas Dodgeball Tournament.
