Boys Basketball Defeats Lakota West 65-60

The Princeton boys basketball team defeated the Lakota West Firebirds 65-60 on Tuesday, January 31st at Princeton High School. The Vikings move to 9-4 in league play.

The game featured 6 lead changes, and the Vikings outscored the Firebirds 30-17 at the end of the first half. Princeton finished the first half shooting 52 percent from the floor, and limited Lakota West to shoot 27 percent.

The Vikings extended their largest lead in the game (38-17) early in the second half. Dorian Williams led the team with 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor. He grabbed down 6 of the team's 24 total rebounds in the win.

Keven Adorno finished the game with 15 points and 3 assists, and Jaiden Arnold added 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

As a team, the Vikings made 23 field goals on 13 assists.

Riley Woods led all players with 6 assists. 

Princeton capitalized on 15 Lakota West turnovers, resulting in 17 points for the Vikings.

Lakota West was led by Nathan Dudukovich's 30-point performance. The Firebirds went on a 11-3 scoring run late in the fourth quarter, but the Vikings secured the win at the free-throw line. Princeton finished the game 13-of-18 from the line.
