The Princeton High School wrestling program traveled to Fairfield High School to compete in the 50th Anniversary of the Ron Masanek Wrestling Invitational.

The Vikings scored 44.5 total points to finish 18th overall.

Junior Micah Cottrell won the 138 pound weight class, finishing the tournament 5-0 over the two day tournament. Micah improves his record to 21-1 overall, and has now won two individual championships on the season.

Josiah Madaris (157 lbs.), Jyren Smith (165 lbs.), and Solomon Smith (190 lbs.) all scored points for the Vikings.

Princeton returns to the mats on Wednesday, January 11th at Lakota West High School. The Vikings will wrestle Ross and Lakota West beginning at 5:00 PM.
