The Princeton boys basketball team defeated the Hamilton Big Blue 87-77 on Friday, January 6th at Hamilton High School. The Vikings move to 6-1 in the Greater Miami Conference.
Keven Adorno scored a team-high 25 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the floor. He added 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in the win.
Jaiden Arnold recorded his first double-double, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds.Â
Princeton's offense made 26 field goals on 11 assists, and finished the game shooting 49 percent. The Vikings knocked down 7-of-19 three point attempts.
Kaden Stephens led the team with 3 made three-pointers to finish the game with 9 points.
Illijah Adams and Cliff Cass also reached double digits, scoring 11 and 10 points respectively.
The defense outrebounded Hamilton 35-33 and forced 12 turnovers. Hamilton's offense was led by Cooper Matthews who scored 39 points.
