Boys Water Polo Goes 4-0 at Napoleon Invitational

The Princeton High School boys varsity water polo team went 4-0 at the Napoleon Invitational this past weekend. The Vikings improved their overall record to 10-5.

In the first game, Princeton defeated Napoleon 11-4. Carson McDaniel and Matthew Hardman led the offense with 4 and 3 goals respectively. Trevor Ehlerding led the team with 4 assists, and Jack McDaniel finished the game with 8 blocks.

Princeton's offense scored 16 goals on 11 assists en route to a 16-6 win over the Mason Comets. Carson McDaniel led the team with 6 goals. Trevor Ehlerding and Matthew Hardman scored 3 goals, and Jake Culter added 2 goals in the win. The Vikings defense had 11 steals. Matthew Hardman, Mitchell Kessler, and Jack McDaniel all finished with 2 steals in the win. Jack McDaniel recorded 10 blocks in the win.

Matthew Hardman dished out 7 assists in the team's 14-11 shootout victory over Thomas. Carson McDaniel scored 8 goals, and Trevor Ehlerding added 3 goals in the win.

In the final varsity match, Princeton defeated Kilbourne 18-9. The Vikings offense continued to display great passing as the team recorded 13 assists. Jack McDaniel scored 5 goals to lead the offense.
