2022 Princeton Varsity Baseball vs. Oak Hills Final

McDaniel Tosses CG Shutout; Vikings Win 2nd Straight

Carson McDaniel tossed a complete game shutout and the Vikings defeated Oak Hills 1-0 on Monday, May 9th. 
 
 
Princeton (4-20) won their second consecutive game behind the strong performance of lefthander, Carson McDaniel.

McDaniel yielded just 5 hits over 7 innings of work. He struck out 6 batters and walked 3. McDaniel was efficient from the start, throwing 16 first pitch strikes.

The Vikings offense scattered three base hits and forced 3 walks. 

J'Quan Turnage collected the lone RBI on a base hit in the sixth inning. 

Andrew Edrington and James Spears each had a hit in the win.

Princeton returns to action on Tuesday, May 10th as they host the Middletown Middies. First pitch is set for 5:00 PM.
