Vikings Top Firebirds

The Princeton boys varsity basketball team defeated the Lakota West Firebirds 63-61 on Tuesday, February 8th. The Vikings improve to 14-7 overall, and 10-4 in the Greater Miami Conference.

Princeton jumped out to a 22-17 first quarter lead. Bowen Hardman knocked down 4-of-4 from behind the arc in the quarter, and scored 19 first half points.
Hardman finished the game with 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting. He made a season-high 6 three pointers in the win.

Princeton shot 48 percent from the field in the first half, and finished the game shooting 47 percent. 

Lakota West rallied back behind Nathan Dudukovich's 16 second half points. He led all scorers with 27 points.

Isaiah Myers scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Rodney Harris II added 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.

The Vikings made 24 field goals on 15 assists. 

Princeton scored 13 second chance points compared to 5 points by Lakota West. The Firebirds finished the game out rebounding the Vikings 26-21.

Defensively, Princeton forced 17 turnovers and had 9 steals.
