The Princeton Lady Vikings defeated the Lakota East Thunderhawks 58-43 in the Division I District Finals on Saturday, February 26th at Lakota West High School.
Princeton erased a 30-26 first half deficit to outscore Lakota East 32-13 in the second half to secure their ticket to the Regional Semi-Finals on Tuesday evening.
Sole' Williams led the scoring with 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting from the floor. She knocked down 4-of-8 three pointers and added 6 rebounds.
The Lady Vikings made 22 field goals on 10 assists, finishing the game shooting 45 percent from the floor. Princeton made 9-of-10 free throw attempts.
Dede Carter-Hartley finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds. La'Sonja Hill added 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Margo Abrams dished out a team-high 3 assists and scored 6 points and 5 rebounds.
Princeton outrebounded Lakota East 27-20 and forced 12 turnovers.
The Lady Vikings will play in the Regional Semi-FInals against Mount Notre Dame on Tuesday, March 1st.
