The Princeton Lady Vikings basketball team defeated the Loveland Tigers 49-30 on Tuesday, February 22nd at Lakota East High School. Princeton improves to 22-3 overall, and will play in the District Finals on Saturday, February 26th.
Princeton outscored Loveland 31-13 in the second half.
Sole' Williams led all scorers with 15 points on 6-of-17 shooting from the floor.
Dede Carter-Hartley and La'Sonja Hill each added 9 points. Carter-Hartley finished with a game-high 9 rebounds, including 5 big offensive rebounds.
Kali Fortson scored 5 points, 5 rebounds, and blocked 2 of the team's 4 blocked shots.
Margo Abrams and Aniya Julious each added 4 points. Abrams dished out 3 assists and 2 steals.Â
Offensively, Princeton shot 21-of-58 (36.2%) from the floor and dished out 11 assists. The Lady Vikings limited the Tigers to 27 percent shooting from the floor.
On defense, Williams had 7 of the team's 13 steals in the game. Loveland committed 23 turnovers.
