The Princeton boys varsity basketball team defeated the Mount Healthy Owls 76-45 to advance to the second round of the Southwest District Sectional Basketball Tournament. The Vikings improve to 16-7 overall.
Rodney Harris II scored a game-high 23 points on 11-of-12 shooting from the floor. He finished with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and 1 steal.
As a team, Princeton shot 33-of-50 (66%) from the floor on 18 assists.
The Vikings had four players reach double digit scoring in the game.
Bowen Hardman scored 16 points, and Isaiah Myers added 11 points and 8 rebounds.
Jaiden Arnold scored 10 points off the bench on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor. The Vikings bench outscored the Owls, 20-8.
In the second half, Princeton shot 74 percent from the floor. The Vikings scored 24 points in transition and had 38 defensive stops.
Riley Woods, Jaiden Arnold, and Joey Chaney each had 3 of the team's 14 steals in the win.
