The Princeton Vikings boys varsity basketball team defeated Moeller 51-31 on Tuesday, November 29th at Viking Arena on the campus of Princeton High School.
Princeton erased an early 0-5 deficit to win the first quarter, 8-7. The Vikings would later go on a 11-2 run to hold a 28-18 lead at the half.
The energy on defense was sensational all night. Princeton forced Moeller to commit 15 turnovers in the game, and the Vikings scored 20 points off turnovers.
Keven Adorno led the Vikings on offense with 16 points off 6-of-10 shooting from the floor. Adorno knocked down three of the team's 6 made three-pointers in the game.
Princeton ended the game shooting 54 percent from the floor, making 21 field goals on 11 assists.
Cliff Cass led the defense with 4 of the team's 14 steals in the game. Cass added 3 assists and 8 points.
Also reaching double digits in scoring was Jaiden Arnold with 10 points.
Princeton's defense limited Moeller to 36 percent shooting from the floor, and just 6 points in the paint.
