The Princeton girls basketball team defeated the Oak Hills Highlanders 71-22 on Saturday, January 29th at Oak Hills High School. The Lady Vikings improve to 17-3 overall, and 13-1 in the Greater Miami Conference.
Princeton opened the game on a 19-3 scoring run, and led 34-11 at the half.
The Lady Vikings made 24 field goals on 15 assistants, and finished the game shooting 50 percent from the floor.
Sole' Williams led the scoring with 29 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the floor. She knocked down 5 of the team's 9 three pointers.Â
La'Sonja Hill scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers. She added 4 assists, and 4 steals in the game.
Margo Abrahms and Dede Carter-Hartley each scored 10 points.Â
Princeton outrebounded Oak Hills 29-13, and forced the Highlanders to 26 turnovers.
