Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Oak Hills Final

Williams Scores 34 Points; Lady Vikings Move to 5-0

The Princeton girls basketball team won their home opener against the Oak Hills Highlanders 74-30 on Wednesday, December 8th at Princeton High School. The Lady Vikings improve to 5-0 overall, and 3-0 in the Greater Miami Conference. Princeton opened up the game with a 26-4 first quarter run and led 43-19 at the midway point.  The Lady Vikings scored 37 points off turnovers in the game.

Sole Williams led all scorers with 34 points on 14-of-19 shooting from the floor. She knocked down four 3-pointers and had 6 steals.

Dede Carter-Hartley led the team with 8 total rebounds and scored 9 points. LaSonja Hill had a game-high 8 assists and 7 steals.

Margo Abrams added 9 points and 4 rebounds.

Princeton shot 52 percent, and limited Oak Hills to 9-of-30 shooting from the floor.
The Lady Vikings return to action on Saturday, December 11th against Fairfield. The two teams will tip-off at 1:45 PM at Princeton. Game day tickets will be available at www.vikenation.org/tickets.
