Introducing the 2021 Southwest Ohio All-District High School Football Team

The 2021 Southwest Ohio District football honors were announced on Wednesday, November 17th.

Head Coach Andre Parker was named Coach of the Year after leading the Vikings to a 11-2 overall record, and a Regional Semi-Final appearance. 

Rodney Harris II was named first team honors at wide receiver. He finished the season leading the Greater Miami Conference with 838 receiving yards and league best 12 touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the football, Anas Luqman received first team honors. He led the Greater Miami Conference with 11 sacks. 

TJ Engleman received second team honors. He finished the season ranked fifth in the Greater Miami Conference with 1207 passing yards. He also rushed for 960 yards. Engleman threw 16 touchdowns and rushed for 13 touchdowns on the season.

Also receiving second team honors was Jaleel Engleman. The wide receiver finished second in the league with 647 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns. Jaleel also returned 2 kickoffs for touchdowns and finished with a 33.1 return yard average.

Caleb Clark-Glover, Phillip Daniels, Miquise Grace, AJ Nunley, and Cole Walker received honorable mention honors.

Caleb finished the season with 3 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions, and 1 force fumble from the defensive back position. Daniels was a key component on the line for the Vikings. Grace finished second in the conference with 8.5 sacks, and Nunley recorded 87 tackles from the linebacker position to finish 4th in the league. Cole Walker led the conference with 72 points, knocking down 57 PAT's and 5-of-7 field goals.

Various members of the media from Cincinnati, Dayton and surrounding counties met last week to select the 2021 All-Southwest District High School football teams. Those making the first team qualify to be recognized as all-state players in some capacity with that vote coming later in the year.
