Boys Basketball Moves to 4-2 in League Play with Win Over Oak Hills

The Princeton boys varsity basketball team defeated Oak Hills 56-38 on Friday, January 29th at Oak Hills High School. The Vikings move their record to 5-4 overall, and 4-2 in the Greater Miami Conference. 

Princeton jumped out in front 19-13 after the first quarter of play, and led 33-24 at halftime.

The Vikings continued to hold the lead in the second half of play, outscoring the Highlanders 23-14.

Offensively, Jesse Olverson led the way with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor. He added 5 rebounds, and a steal in the win.
 
Bowen Hardman finished the game with 11 points. He shot 4-of-7 from the floor, and knocked down three 3-pointers in the game.

Princeton continued its strong shooting, finishing the game 19-of-40 from the field. Rodney Harris Jr added 8 points and led the game with 6 assists. The Vikings tallied 13 total assists during the game.

Defensively, Princeton outrebounded Oak Hills 16-12 and forced 20 turnovers.

The Vikings will return back to action on Saturday, January 30th versus Lakota West at 6:30 PM.
