Lady Vikings Close Out Home Schedule with 50-36 Win Over Sycamore

The Princeton Lady Vikings basketball team closed out its' home regular season schedule with a 50-36 victory over the Sycamore Aviators on Wednesday, February 5th at Princeton High School. The Lady Vikings improve to 17-4 overall, and 13-2 in the Greater Miami Conference.

Princeton is currently in second place, one game behind the Lakota West Firebirds in the GMC Standings.

Senior Ashley Davis led the Lady Vikings in scoring with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor, including knocking down a pair of three-pointers. Davis currently ranks 5th in the conference with a 46.6 percent field goal percentage.

The offense for Princeton knocked down 19 field goals on 12 assists.

Sophomore Kyla Oldacre scored 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the floor. She knocked down 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Oldacre recorded 14 of the team's 31 rebounds and had 3 blocks.

Senior Willow White added 12 points.

Princeton's defense limited Sycamore to 9-of-44 shooting from the floor. The Aviators were led by Aliah McWhorter's 19 points and 7 rebounds.

The Lady Vikings will conclude its' regular season schedule on Saturday, February 8th as they travel to Middletown for a 1:45 PM start time.
