Princeton Wrestling Falls to Moeller in State Team Duals Tournament

The Princeton varsity wrestling team began its' state team duals tournament on Saturday, February 8th at Lakota East High School. The Vikings lost to the Moeller Crusaders 40-36.

Sophomore Marquis Gamble picked up the first win for Princeton by forfeit at the 120-pound weight class. Senior Antoine Allen (126) followed Gamble with a victory by Technical Fall.

Senior Josue Dawson suffered his first loss of the season at the 132-pound weight class.

The Vikings would rally with wins by senior Elijah Jackson (138), senior Omar Cruz-Rios (145), and sophomore Maceo Powell, Jr (152).

Seniors Enrique Mendiola (220) and Vincent Munlin, Jr. won by forfeit and by fall respectively.

Princeton returns to action on Saturday, February 22nd at Oak Hills High School for the 2020 Greater Miami Conference Championships. Wrestling will begin at 10:00 AM.
