Boys Basketball Bounces Back with 65-51 Win Over Hamilton

The Princeton Vikings boys basketball team evened up the season series against Hamilton with a 65-51 win on Friday, January 31st at Viking Arena. The Vikings improve to 13-5 overall, and 8-4 in the Greater Miami Conference. Princeton is currently third in the league standings behind Lakota East and Oak Hills.

Hamilton took a 14-11 first quarter lead, but the Vikings went on to outscore the Big Blue 54-37. Sophomore Bowen Hardman led the scoring with 19 points, include 4-of-8 shooting behind the arc. 

The Vikings were 6-of-12 from behind the arc in the game.

Senior Kahlil Davis finished the night with 15 points and 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Junior Greg Johnson added 12 points and 4 rebounds.

Princeton's bench outscored Hamilton 11-3.

The Vikings finished the game shooting 23-of-44 from the floor and a perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line.

Defensively, Princeton forced 11 turnovers and won the battle on the glass, 23-20.

Hamilton was led by Trey Robinson's 27 points.

The Vikings will go on to play Sycamore at home on Tuesday, February 4th.
