Boys Basketball: Princeton 58, Fairfield 65

The Princeton boys varsity basketball team lost to Fairfield 65-58 on Tuesday, December 22nd at Fairfield High School. The Vikings drop to 1-2 overall, and 1-1 in the Greater Miami Conference.

Princeton led the score after the first three quarters in a very tightly contested conference matchup. Fairfield overcame the 43-42 deficit in the fourth quarter to outscore the Vikings 23-15.

Princeton's offense was led by Greg Johnson with 26 points and a team-high 7 rebounds. Rodney Harris Jr., scored 14 points and added 6 rebounds.

Jesse Olverson and Bowen Hardman each scored 9 points.

Defensively, Princeton had 6 steals and forced 13 turnovers.

Fairfield's bench outscored Princeton 11-0, and finished the game shooting 59 percent from the floor.  

The Vikings finished the game shooting 34.7 percent from the floor, and knocked down 5-of-21 three point attempts.

Princeton returns to action on Tuesday, December 29th at Winton Woods High School.
