Lady Vikings Improve to 4-0 in League Play

The Princeton Lady Vikings basketball team defeated the Hamilton Big Blue 58-38 on Saturday, December 19th to earn their fourth consecutive conference win on the season. The Lady Vikings improved to 5-1 overall, and 4-0 in the Greater Miami Conference.

Princeton built a 13-4 first quarter lead, and led the Big Blue 27-15 after the first half. La'Sonja Hill scored 8 of her game-high 17 points in the first half. Hill knocked down 5-of-7 three pointers in the game. She currently ranks third in the conference with 16 - three pointers made.

Madison Roshelle reached double-digit scoring for the fourth time this season. She scored 16 points on 7-of-16 shooting from the floor. She added 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

Princeton made 19 field goals off 16 assists in the win. Margo Abrams led the game with 7 assists. She also scored 5 points and 3 steals.

Kendall Wilson scored 8 points and Taryn Cash added 7 points.

The Lady Vikings return to action on Wednesday, December 30th against the Mason Comets. The start time is scheduled for 1:45 PM at Viking Arena.
