Lady Vikings Win 71-46 at Oak Hills in GMC Opener

The Princeton Lady Vikings varsity basketball team opened up conference play with a 71-46 road win against the Oak Hills Highlanders on Monday, November 30th. Princeton improves to 2-0 on the season.

The Lady Vikings jumped out to an early 21-8 lead after the first quarter. The offense continued its success with another 21-point second quarter performance to lead the Highlanders at the break, 42-19.
 
Princeton finished the game with three players scoring double digits, and 8 different players scoring in the contest. Madison Roshelle led all scorers with 16 points on 8-of-19 shooting from the floor. 

La'Sonja Hill knocked down five 3-pointers in the contest to finish with 15 points, and Kendall Wilson added 14 points.

The offense made 28 field goals off 21 assists.

Defensively, Princeton limited Oak Hills to 28.3 percent shooting from the floor. The Lady Vikings forced 29 turnovers and had 18 steals in the win.

Princeton returns to action on Wednesday, December 2nd at Fairfield High School. The game is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
