Regional Results
The Princeton Lady Vikings track and field program scored 55 points to finish in second place at the Regional Championships on Friday, May 24th at Dayton Wayne High School. The Lady Vikings advanced eight athletes to the State Championships at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at The Ohio State University.
The 4x200 meter relay of Darian Braddix, Madison Jenkins, Kassie Jordan, and Elaine Thompson won with a time of 1:40.02.
They will race at approximately 7:15pm on Friday, May 31st.
Jenkins advanced to State as an individual in the 400 meter dash. Jenkins placed second at Regionals with a time of 56.89 seconds. Also, advancing individually is Maria Kaylor in the 3200 meter run and Madison Roshelle in the long jump.
Kaylor finished in sixth place at Regionals with a time of 11:00.80, and will run at approximately 6:20pm on Saturday, June 1st.
Roshelle jumped 16-11.50 feet to place fourth overall at Regionals. The girls long jump event will get underway on Saturday, June 1st at approximately 3:00pm.
Reese Riep qualified for State in the 100 and 200 meter dash after posting times of 12.34 and 25.03 seconds respectively. Riep will also join Braddix, Jordan, and Rencher in the 4x100 meter Relay.
The 2019 OHSAA Division I State Championships will be held at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of The Ohio State University. Please visit HERE for additional tournament information.
