The Princeton Lady Vikings softball team defeated the Sycamore Aves in walk-off fashion 9-8 on Friday, April 5th at Princeton High School.

Imani Reed knocked in Samanya Ferguson-Taylor for the winning run with bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Reed finished the day going 4-for-5 at the plate with 6 RBI's. She hit 2 triples and had 1 stolen base.

Samanya scored 3 runs and had 2 stolen bases. Andralyn Brown finished the day going 1-for 4 at the plate with a double, 2 runs, 1 RBI, and a stolen base.

On the mound, Reed pitched a gem. She struck out 7 batters across 7 innings of work.

Princeton travels to Fairfield on Monday, April 8th at 5:00pm.
