Princeton Wrestling Finishes 4th at Bob Schwab Classic

The Princeton wrestling team finished in fourth place at the Bob Schwab Wrestling Classic on Saturday, December 7th at Bishop Fenwick High School.

The Vikings had three-individual champions and a total of fourteen wrestlers placed during the tournament.

Sophomore Marquis Gamble (126), senior Josue Dawson (132), and senior Elijah Jackson (138) were all individual champions at their respective weight class.

Senior Omar Crus-Rios (138), sophomore Maceo Powell (152), and freshman Jaydin Vargas (126) finished runner-up.

Seniors Landon Smith III (145) and Mohammad Ahmadzai (152) each placed third overall, and junior Amari Mathis (285) finished in fourth place.

The Varsity team will travel to Ryle High School on Saturday, December 14th to participate in the annual Raider Rumble. Wrestling begins at 9:00am. The freshmen and junior varsity will travel to Fairfield High School on Saturday to compete in the Fairfield Duals at 8:30am.
