Lady Vikings Basketball wins on the road at Sycamore, 51-41

The Princeton Lady Vikings basketball team picked up a big road win against the Sycamore Aviators 51-41 on Wednesday, December 11th at Sycamore High School. Princeton gave Sycamore their first loss of the season, and the Lady Vikings improve to 3-3 overall, and 2-1 in the Greater Miami Conference.

Princeton erased a 21-17 halftime deficit to outscore Sycamore 34-20 in the second half.

Kyle Oldacre led all scorers with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor. She was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line, and finished with 10 rebounds. It marks her second game of the season in which she recorded a double-double. Last season, Oldacre recorded 8 double-doubles.

Senior guard Willow White knocked down two 3-pointers to finish with 8 points. She added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.

Princeton's bench outscored Sycamore 12-0. Madison Roshelle finished with 6 points and 4 steals. Taryn Cash added 4 points off the bench for the Lady Vikings.

Offensively, Princeton made 21 field goals off 11 assists. The Lady Vikings won the free throw battle, going 7-for-8 from the line, compared to 6-for-17 by Sycamore.

The defense forced the Aviators to 20 turnovers, and Princeton had 9 steals.

Princeton returns to action on Saturday, December 14th against Mason (3-1, 3-0) for a 7:15 PM tip-off at Princeton.
