Varsity Football Wins at Oak Hills, 40-7

The Princeton football team defeated the Oak Hills Highlanders 40-7 on Friday, October 18th at Oak Hills High School. The Vikings improve to 5-3 overall, and 3-3 in the Greater Miami Conference.

The Vikings accumulated 551 total yards of offense, including 358 yards on the ground.

Thomas Boyd rushed for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Ari Turner ran for 153 yards and a touchdown.

Quarterback Dorian Durham was 5-of-7 passing for 193 yards and 2 touchdowns. Durham connected with Rodney Harris Jr. for a 96-yard score in the closing seconds of the first quarter.

Harris finished with 150 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

Princeton's defense limited the Highlanders to 209 total yards of offense. Oak Hills was 0-12 on third-down conversions. Kevin Suttles Jr. forced a fumble, and Leroy Bowers had an interception.

John Harris had 5 total tackles and 2 sacks, and Darrion Henry finished the game with 4 solo tackles and 1 sack. Princeton had 4 total sacks, and 43 total tackles.

Princeton returns to action on Friday, October 25th at home against the Lakota West Firebirds.
